Nicolas Renard Master of Business Administration '22 Nic is a second-year MBA student at Wharton looking to pivot his career toward climate-tech startups. Prior to Penn, Nic worked at Rolls-Royce in the Defense & Aerospace industry. After his first year at Wharton, Nic joined clean hydrogen startup HiiROC as its Development Director and is returning to Penn to complete his MBA. An original member of CL@P, Nic is originally from France, although he has lived most of his life in the UK. He is happily married and a proud father of a 4-year old boy and 1 year-old baby girl. Nic graduated with an ME in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London. |

Anne Sharp Master of Environmental Studies ‘23 Anne is a second-year student in the MES program with a focus on Corporate Sustainability. She currently works for a Philadelphia-based real estate developer and hopes to address embodied carbon and resource use within the built environment. She has formal training and work experience in horticulture and was previously CL@P's VP of Design. Anne received her BA in Biology with a concentration in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Pennsylvania. |

Sylvie Josel Master of Environmental Studies ‘22 Sylvie is a second-year student in the MES program with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Prior to Penn, Sylvie worked as a consultant in California, preparing Environmental Impact Reports throughout the state. She believes in the necessity of empowering people and their communities to actualize environmental change and hopes to reflect this in her career by redefining corporate values to dynamize tangible, lucrative benefits to both society and our planet. She received her BS in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Davis. |

Thomas Obermeier Master of Business Administration ‘22 Thomas is a second-year MBA candidate at Wharton interested in the intersection of climate tech and finance. He is on the board of the Wharton Energy Club, a co-host of The Wharton Current, the Energy Club's podcast, and was a Spring 2021 Climate Leaders @ Penn fellow. Prior to Wharton, Thomas worked for EY's Power & Utilities/Infrastructure Transaction Advisory Group. A graduate of William & Mary, he is originally from Frankfurt, Germany and fluent in German. |

Sam Wong Juris Doctor ‘23 Sam is a second-year student at Penn Law where his interests lie in the clean energy transition. Before Penn, Sam spent seven years working as a paralegal for civil rights law firms and as a professional dancer and competitive aerialist. He has previously worked at the Sierra Club and the Environmental Law Institute and volunteered at the Environmental Peacebuilding Association. Sam serves as VP of the Environmental Law Project and is an associate editor on the Penn Law Review and The Regulatory Review. He graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University in 2013 with a BA in Environmental Studies and Dance. |

Thomas Rokholt Master of Business Administration ‘22 Thomas is a second-year MBA student at Wharton where he focuses on the intersection of finance and clean energy. Prior to Penn, he spent six years at EnerNOC and then Enel X, a division of the Enel Group, building and managing portfolios of distributed energy resources that helped the electricity grid run more efficiently. He interned this past summer at Goldman Sachs' Natural Resources banking group, working with companies to scale their clean energy businesses. He holds a BA from Yale College in Economics and Environmental Studies. |
VP of Social Events and Chief Happiness Officer Clara Lyle Master of City Planning ‘22 Clara is a second-year master’s candidate at the Weitzman School of Design with a focus on Land Use and Environmental Planning. She is an Editor at Panorama, the Weitzman planning journal, a research assistant at the Wharton Risk Center, and was a Spring 2021 Climate Leaders @ Penn fellow. She is passionate about planning happy, sustainable spaces that use renewable energy and prioritize nature-based climate solutions. When she is not reading about climate change, you can find her on her bike looking for the best sandwich in town. |
VP of Marketing Alyssa Hudson Master of Environmental Studies ‘22 Alyssa Hudson is a part-time MES student with a concentration in Sustainability. She previously worked in the eCommerce and Pharmaceutical industries. After Penn, she would like to work in Corporate Sustainability and help businesses implement more sustainable practices in their daily operations. She recently spent the summer working with Penn Sustainability and ClimeCo on projects focused on waste and plastic credit systems. Alyssa is a Pennsylvania native, avid traveler, and Philadelphia sports fan. She earned her BA in Marketing Management from Immaculata University. |

Abhinav Raghunathan Master of Science in Data Science ‘23 Abhinav is a first-year student in the Engineering School’s Data Science program. A published TEDx speaker, his primary area of focus is algorithmic bias and its various applications. Abhinav has extensive experience working with data in the finance and technology sectors and hopes to further the positive potential of technology in the climate space by targeting existing bias in the field. He holds a BS in Mathematics and a BS in Computational Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. |
