Alex Cartwright
Master of Environmental Studies ‘23
Master of City & Regional Planning ‘23
Alex is a dual degree MES and MCP student concentrating in Land Use-Environmental Planning, Resilience, and Adaptation. He hopes to influence resilient urban development, promote regenerative food systems, and work to protect our water and land resources. Alex is a water resource analyst at The Water Center at Penn, supporting research that investigates water system infrastructure, policy, and funding. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
Anant Jain
Doctorate in Chemistry ‘23
Anant is a third-year PhD Candidate in the Department of Chemistry at the School of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on developing environmentally responsible and economically viable catalytic routes for synthesis of industrially relevant chemicals. He is also a Graduate Fellow at the Vagelos Institute of Energy Science and Technology. Prior to Penn, Anant received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.
Anuj Krishnamurthy
Master of Computer & Information Technology ‘22
Anuj is a first year student in Penn’s computer and information technology program. At Penn, he works as a research assistant with the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy's global food systems initiative. Anuj earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations at Brown University.
Bridget Golob
Juris Doctor '21

Bridget Golob is a J.D. Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. At Penn Law, she serves as a Senior Editor for the Journal of International Law and as a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team. She is interested in issues pertaining to international environmental challenges and environmental and energy law. She received a master's degree with distinction in Conflict, Security & Development from King's College London.
Carly De La Hoz
Master of Business Administration ‘22
Carly is a first-year candidate at Wharton where she studies the intersection of real estate, policy, and design. She serves on the boards of the Wharton Real Estate Club and the Future of Cities Conference and is actively involved in the Education Committee for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.  As a LEED Accredited, licensed architect, Carly worked toward environmentally-friendly design in NYC and NJ. She earned her BA in Architecture from Princeton University.
Clara Lyle
Master of City Planning ‘22
Clara is a first-year master’s candidate at the Weitzman School of Design with a focus on Land Use and Environmental Planning. She is an Editor at Panorama, the Weitzman planning journal, and a research assistant at the Wharton Risk Center. She is passionate about planning happy, sustainable spaces that use renewable energy and prioritize nature-based climate solutions. When she is not reading about climate change, you can find her on her bike looking for the best sandwich in town.
Hana Rouse
Master of Business Administration ‘21
Master of Public Administration ‘22
Hana is a dual degree student pursuing an MPA at the Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA with Wharton. Hana worked as a researcher for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and in the Treasury Department’s Legislative Affairs Office and White House’s Communications Office under President Obama. She received her BA in History from Harvard University. Hana is interested in the intersection of food, public health, and climate change and plans dedicate her career to reshaping our system of food production.
Hanna Lindner
Doctorate in Biostatistics ‘21
Hanna is a fifth year PhD student studying biostatistics. Her current research develops statistical methods for biomarker discovery, and she believes that data driven solutions are more relevant than ever for solving the climate crisis. She is also a volunteer with the RockHopper Fund and IDinsight’sGiving Green initiative. Her climate interests center around conservation and sustainability, activism, and environmental health.
Hannah Wagner
Master of City & Regional Planning ‘22
Hannah is a first-year student at the Weitzman School of Design. Her work focuses on advancement of community-led climate change resilience. She previously worked as a climate adaptation and resilience analyst at ICF where she led planning efforts for utilities, metropolitan planning organizations, and other agencies. She is committed to building more effective and equitable pathways to long-term climate resilience.
Joseph Milo
Master of Public Administration ‘22

Joseph is a master’s candidate in the Fels Institute of Government and works as an Operations Shift Manager at PSEG’s Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station. His interests are in energy policy, energy markets, and rate designs that will allow for the efficient transition to a carbon free grid. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he was a member of the rowing team, served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy, and worked in Regulatory Affairs at the U.S. Enrichment Corporation in Piketon, Ohio.
Lauren Davis
Master of Business Administration ‘21
Lauren is a second-year student at Wharton studying Finance. She has worked as a mechanical engineer and policy analysts for companies focusing on energy efficiency, sustainable building design, and electric vehicle policy. She has a BSE from Penn in Mechanical Engineering and an MSE from Carnegie Mellon in Energy Science, Technology, and Policy. Following graduation she will be pursuing her career in Lazard's Power, Energy, and Infrastructure group at Lazard.
Max Pisciotta
Doctorate in Chemical Engineering ‘24

Max is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering department’s Clean Energy Conversions Lab. His research focuses on deep decarbonization and carbon capture from point sources as well as directly from the air and how these technologies can be utilized in a just energy transition. Max holds a BS and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Natalie Bauer
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine ‘24
Natalie is a first-year student at Penn Vet with an interest in climate change and how it impacts wildlife and their health. Prior to vet school, Natalie earned a master’s degree in Conservation Medicine and held a research position at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, helping track the redistribution of Australian marine species due to climate change. She hopes to integrate an understanding of climate change with her wildlife veterinary medicine career. She enjoys running, listening to music, and outdoor activities.
Oliver Atwood
Master of Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning ‘22
Oliver is a first-year master’s candidate at the Weitzman School of Design. His work focuses on the interaction of human and natural systems at a variety of scales. Prior to graduate school, he practiced architecture in San Francisco and worked on the design and construction of rammed earth buildings and art installations in California and Nepal. Oliver holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
Paula Kwasniewska
Master of Environmental Studies ‘21
Paula is an MES candidate concentrating in Environmental Policy. She hopes to pursue environmental policy reform at the local, national, and international level with a focus on environmental protection, sustainable management of natural resources, and environmental justice. She earned an undergraduate degree from Temple University in Environmental Studies. She has been involved in climate resilient, green storm water infrastructure advocacy as well as urban agriculture stewardship within her community.
Priyanka Krishnamoorthy
Master of Business Administration ‘21
Priyanka is a second-year Wharton MBA student from Sri Lanka. She is interested in impact investing and a just transition to a low carbon environment with a focus on developing countries. Prior to Penn, she worked as an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and as an Analyst for the State Minister of Finance in Sri Lanka. She is passionate about gender justice and responsible business in line with climate action.
Rishika Ghosh
Master of Business Administration ‘21
Rishika is a second-year Wharton MBA candidate majoring in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Finance. She is Co-President of the Wharton Energy Club and VP of Careers in the Wharton Future Mobility Club. She was a Summer Associate at DTE Energy Resources and a Revenue Operations Intern at CrossnoKaye. Prior to Penn, Rishika was an onshore wind engineering program manager and a graduate of the Renewable Energy Development Program at GE’s Renewable Energy business. She holds a BS and an MS in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell.
Sage Lincoln

Sage is a first-year law student at the Carey Law School where she is representative for the Environmental Law Project, National Lawyers Guild, and American Constitution Society. Prior to law school, Sage was a Communications Associate at the Urban Green Council, a NYC nonprofit focused on building energy efficiency and sustainability. She received a BA and BS in Geology, Ecology, and Urban Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and has been recognized as a Udall Scholar and a NOAA Hollings Scholar.

Thomas Obermeier

Thomas is a first-year MBA candidate at The Wharton School interested in the intersection of climate tech and finance. He is on the board of the Wharton Energy Club and a co-host of The Wharton Current, the Energy Club's podcast. Prior to Wharton, he worked for EY's Power & Utilities/Infrastructure Transaction Advisory Group. A graduate of William & Mary, he is originally from Frankfurt, Germany and fluent in German.
