Raghav Khemka
Co-Chair

Master of Environmental Studies
Raghav, a key figure at Ashoka, oversees the venture and fellowship program, supporting social entrepreneurs in South Asia. He focuses on climate issues and sustainability, advises the Khemka Foundation, and serves as a director in Khemka group companies. With a Law and Politics background from SOAS, London, he plans to pursue a Master’s in Climate Policy while continuing his advisory role. Coming from an industrial family, he advocates for sustainable enterprise, resource efficiency, and scientific farming.
Shrey Mehta
Co-Chair

Master of Environmental Studies
Shrey is a Master of Environmental Studies candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on sustainable energy solutions. With a passion for decarbonising power systems, he interned at the International Energy Agency in Paris, shaping global electricity market insights as the youngest author on a key mid-year report. He ultimately envisions accessible, equitable, and resilient energy transitions for all.
Deepthi Rao

Master of Environmental Studies
Deepthi is a Master of Environmental Studies student with a background in accounting and currently specializing in climate finance and sustainable development. As a certified yoga teacher, she integrates mind-body practices for planetary health. She is passionate about ethical fashion, responsible business, and integrating Indigenous knowledge into climate action.
Jack Granite

PhD in Chemical & Bio-molecular Engineering
Jack is a second year Ph.D. candidate in the department of chemical and bio-molecular engineering where his research is focused on using polymerisable liquid crystalline systems as membranes for chemical separations of decreased energy intensity compared to conventional methods. In his free time he loves to sing, ski, and hang out with his cat Ziggy.
Fabiola Cristina Santos

Master of Environmental Studies
Fabiola is a Master’s student pursuing a concentration in Sustainability within the Environmental Studies program. She brings experience in corporate sustainability and carbon footprint accounting and is passionate about decarbonisation initiatives and sustainable innovation. By integrating analytical expertise with collaborative engagement, she focuses on creating meaningful climate action. Fabiola’s interests also include environmental impact analysis and enhancing consumer sustainability recognition. She actively seeks to build connections between academic research and practical industry applications.
Tazain Haroon

Tazain is a Masters of Environmental Studies candidate with a background in communication design. She is passionate about sustainability and social impact, combining creativity with problem-solving to develop strategic environmental solutions. With a deep interest in corporate sustainability, sustainable design, and nonprofit advocacy, she strives to bridge innovation and impact. Beyond academics, she is deeply involved in animal welfare, advocating for ethical treatment and sustainable solutions for stray and shelter animals.
Priyanka Chatterjee
Co-Chair of Capstone

PhD in Microbiology
Priyanka is a 5th-year PhD Candidate in Microbiology. She is working in the Pohlschroder Lab on the topic of identifying cell communication signals (quorum sensing) in the understudied domain of life, archaea. She works with an extremophile microorganism and is interested in how using the biology of uncommon microorganisms can help to combat the growing problems of climate change and associate issues with pollution and plastic waste.
Carleigh Douglas
Co-Chair of Capstone

Master of Business Administration
Carleigh is a first-year MBA candidate at the Wharton School with eight years of progressive experience at BlackRock, including roles as Vice President of Sustainable & Transition Solutions and Chief of Staff for Sustainable Investing. She first honed her leadership skills at Vector Marketing, successfully opening and running a profitable branch office. A Georgetown University alumna, Carleigh promoted international education while earning her B.S. in International Business and Marketing. She remains passionate about sustainable finance, global impact, and transformative leadership.
