Climate tech entrepreneurship is booming with increasingly large investments being funneled into the industry by both climate-focused investors and now mainstream venture capitalists who are flocking back to the industry following the 2008 downturn.
The discussion was moderated by Steve Greenspan, social scientist and former vice president of a Fortune 500 information technology software company. In addition to his environmental justice work, Steve advises two startups in the IT industry and is working with an economist modeling food and nutrition security.
